SECTION 1 - WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?

When you purchase something from Zing, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. This enables us to process new and future orders more quickly. Sometime we keep physical information at Zing, which is safely secured and passcode protected.

When you browse our website, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.

Email marketing (if applicable): With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products and other updates.

How do you get my consent?

When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.

If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say agree to this. We use the Mailchimp email marketing platform, and we require users to go through a “double opt-in” process to join the list.

We will not disclose your personal information or any other information which could be used to identify any individual unless we are required by law to do so, or if you violate our Terms of Service.

The  third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us which allow us to fulfil your order.

Other Third Parties

Occasionally it is necessary for us to send data to third parties in order to fulfil your order, such as mailing companies, where we are required to send a database with the data required. Where this is the case we will only use trusted, GDPR compliant companies.

All information stored by Zing is kept on a secure server and is password protected.

Cookies are text files placed on your computer to collect standard internet log information and visitor behaviour information. This information is used to track visitor use of the website and to compile statistical reports on website activity.

We cannot control the actions of other users of these platforms or the actions of the platforms themselves.
